This product contains climatological summaries of temperature and precipitation for over 1,000 daily weather stations across the Southeast. Many types of data are available, including averages, extremes, as well as the official NCDC 1971-2000 monthly normals for temperature, precipitation, and heating and cooling degree days. Many of the data are available in both tabular and graphical formats.(NCDC QC Final Data through 03/2012 and Preliminary Data through 04/2012)

NOTE: Due to a further level of quality control applied to official NCDC Normals data, some of these data may differ slightly from the other, unofficial data found in the Historical Climate Summaries products. For more information on these differences, please refer to the following PDF document:
In addition, summaries of monthly average data are available for select locations across the southeast for the following:
Relative Humidity, Cloudiness, Sunshine, Wind Speed, Maximum Wind Speed,
Coastal Water Temperatures, Record High Temperatures, Record Low Temperatures,
Mean Days Equal to or Above 90 Degrees, Mean Days Equal to or Below 32 Degrees,
Mean Days of Precipitation Greater than or Equal to 0.01", Average Total Snowfall

The historical climate summaries products available through this page were developed by the Western Regional Climate Center in Reno, NV.
